Today is International Day of Charity, the perfect time to share what Building Stronger Together means to us at Rund.
This year, we’re continuing our support for the Lighthouse Charity, who provide crucial mental health support for construction workers through on-site sessions and 24-hour helplines. Our team is backing them through fundraising challenges like Tough Mudder and our upcoming Surrey Three Peaks hike.
We're also enhancing local communities through our funding. Our support has enabled the installation of a bug hotel and scooter racks at a school, the provision of a nature camp for urban kids, the continued growth of a grassroots youth football team, and the creation of a children’s book treasure hunt for the summer holiday.
Plus, our staff can request donations or sponsorships for causes close to their hearts, like the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation and Plants and Minds - a sheltered work project providing horticultural therapy.
Strong communities don't build themselves. Our commitment goes beyond construction - we're dedicated to bringing health and prosperity to the places where we live and work.
If you’d like to support our team’s Surrey Three Peaks challenge in November, we’d be grateful for any donations via our JustGiving page, with all proceeds going to Lighthouse.
