Rund enhances surveying team with two new additions

Rund is delighted to welcome two new members to its growing team, with Peter Dunn joining our Southampton office as Senior Surveyor and Sana Bano Jamali joining our Bristol office as Trainee Surveyor.

Peter brings with him an impressive 16 years of expertise as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and joins us from a distinguished career with industry-leading consultancies. His diverse portfolio spans education, transport, and infrastructure projects, with recent highlights including a £4m library and community hub in Staines and a £2m teaching block for the University of Portsmouth.

With comprehensive experience in NEC & JCT contracts, framework agreements, and end-to-end project management, Peter brings technical proficiency in cost management platforms including CostX, CEMAR, and E-Change. Academically qualified with an MSc in Quantity Surveying and a BA (Hons) in Business Administration, Peter is eager to apply his skills across Rund's core sectors of residential, commercial, arts and leisure, and education projects.

Sana arrives at Rund with extensive project management experience gained in Pakistan’s construction industry, and she is now pleased to transition to the UK’s construction sector. She was educated at the NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan, achieving a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She then undertook a master’s degree in Construction Project Management at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2024 with distinction.

For seven years, Sana worked at an architectural practice in Karachi, Pakistan, transitioning from her initial role as Architect to Junior Project Manager. During this time, Sana developed a range of competencies, including leading the design and development of architectural plans for projects across sectors, monitoring project schedules, managing teams, and collaborating with stakeholders. The range of projects Sana worked on includes a 13-storey apartment building in Clifton, Karachi.

Having attended our Graduate Assessment Day in February, Sana’s passion and experience for project management was evident, and she followed up with work experience in our Bristol office. We are now thrilled to welcome her into a long-term role.

We look forward to the valuable contributions both Peter and Sana will make to our team and the exciting projects ahead.
