We are delighted to welcome Derek Ko to Rund on his first day as Associate in the London office.

Derek is a chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 12 years of experience across the local high-profile residential, commercial, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. Derek provides Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent services to both local and international clients, supporting the successful delivery of a wide range of developments.

Derek has a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading. His most recent role was Senior Cost Consultant at a global consultancy, where he led a team delivering services for a variety of high-profile projects. He is proficient in cost planning, contract negotiation, budget monitoring, and project management, with a strong track record of managing complex schemes from inception through to completion.

Derek is committed to meeting client expectations and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes. Along with his technical expertise, Derek is an excellent communicator and mentor.His warm and friendly manner enables him to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Derek’s strong experience and excellent skillset will be a great benefit to Rund, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.
